• Starter Package (4 One-Hour Semi-Private Lessons) - Whether beginner or experienced, all new riders to Kneipp Farm can expect training that builds on the knowledge that you bring to the ring! If beginner, you can expect to learn the essentials of horse care, tacking up your horse, and the foundations of a forward riding seat. Experienced riders can expect a targeted program to introduce you to the Kneipp Farm lesson program.
  • Private Lessons - Kneipp Farm offers hourly private instruction according to riding ability. You can expect a custom program designed to build upon your strengths. 
  • Semi-Private Lessons (2-4 Riders) - Riders will be matched with an appropriate group of equal ability. Each semi-private lesson is one hour in length. 
  • If your child is between the ages of 4-6, please call us to create a custom program!

Training
Kneipp Farm offers a training program to maximize a positive relationship
between horse, rider, and instructor. Whether your equine partner comes 
alone to Kneipp Farm for a complete training program or your partner on site needs an hour session with Maria, we are here to help your horse or pony reach its fullest potential. 

Showing
If your goal is to show, then Kneipp Farm offers the foundational knowledge and confidence to help you reach your goal. We regularly participate in local and USEF rated National 'AA' and 'A' equestrian shows each year. Full coaching and training is offered at all shows, emphasizing on safety, professionalism, sportsmanship, and of course, FUN!

Your Goals Come First. With Kneipp Farm, you can expect a true partnership with the success of rider and horse being paramount. We understand that each rider’s definition of success is different, so we work with individuals to create the program that works best to meet those goals.

Lessons 
Lessons are available for riders ages 4 and up. If you do not have your 
own mount, a quality lesson horse or pony suitable to your needs will 
be made available for your convenience. We offer lesson options for the 
varying levels of experience:
Horsemanship Programming

Horsemanship Day Camp - Stay Tuned for the Fall! 
This two hour camp builds upon existing foundations. Riders will be broken into groups based on ability and experience. One riding lesson will be included. 

Summer Starter Camp
Each summer, Kneipp Farm offers horse and pony camp to young equine enthusiasts. Participants will learn about proper horse care, riding skills and safety, with an emphasis on fun! Each day will consist of at least one riding lesson and riders will be allowed time for water fun afterwards to cool off! ​Time: 10 AM-4PM

Camp 1: June 26-30, Camp 2: July 10-15, Camp 3: July 17-21  
Price per camp: $375 per resident; $395 per non-resident (Registration with Anderson Park District)

Advanced Camp for those jumping crossrails or higher.
​Includes Horse Show! Wed-Saturday Camp. Riders will be expected to cover the costs of entries at Windfall, but use of Kneipp Farm horse, training fees, and hauling of horse are included.Limit for this camp is 5 campers! Sign up directly with Maria.

June 21-24 9am-4pm. Note that June 24th is an early start of 7am in order to attend show.
Price per camp: $300

Clinics
Occasionally, Kneipp Farm will bring in outside professionals to provide instruction on site. These day long events are a great opportunity to learn from other experienced trainers.
